Architect & Artisan
NICOLE LARGILLIER is a designer with a multidisciplinary background in architecture, graphic design, luxury fashion, and branding. She built her first portfolio website in 2008 on Adobe and has since designed websites as a passion project for small businesses, working across platforms like Framer, ShowIt, Wix, Squarespace, Apple, WordPress, and Adobe.
Her design philosophy is rooted in her European experiences—working for Chanel outside Paris, studying under Hermès in Paris, and interning for Christian Louboutin in Milan—where she developed a deep respect for quality, craft, and beauty. These roles instilled in her a refined eye and a commitment to mastering complexity through design.
Nicole’s professional work at Herscoe Hajjar Architects and her studies in architecture and interior design—at the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program and L’École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris—taught her to balance form and function with purpose and beauty. Running her own artisanal leather goods brand further shaped her understanding of small business pain points.
Now based in Naples, Florida, she brings a global lens to her web design practice, creating sites that blend strategic layout, thoughtful product placement, and storytelling to deliver both beauty and impact.
the approach
the value of multi-disciplinary design
Digital Architecture
I don’t just "place" elements on a page; I build digital environments. My background in architecture (Herscoe Hajjar Architects, DAAP, L’École Spéciale) allows me to treat a website’s sitemap like a floor plan—prioritizing spatial flow, structural integrity, and a user’s intuitive movement through a space.
The "Old Money" Aesthetic
Having lived and worked within the epicenter of European luxury, I design with a level of restraint that can't be taught. I understand that true high-end design isn't about "more"—it’s about the perfect weight of a typeface, the intentionality of white space, and a refusal to follow fleeting digital trends that dilute brand equity.
A "Couture" Approach to User Experience
My time at Chanel and Hermès instilled a love for handcraft and legacy products. I view web design through the lens of luxury craftsmanship: every interaction should feel as seamless as a hand-stitched leather seam. I bridge the gap between hand-craftsmanship aesthetics and the digital.
Entrepreneur Perspective
Because I have founded my own artisanal brand at 23yo, I don't design in a vacuum. I understand the "pain points" of a founder. Every design choice I make is filtered through a business lens—ensuring the site isn't just a portfolio piece, but a functional tool that drives conversion and commands premium pricing.
Global Visual Literacy
Working in France, Italy, and America has given me a "global eye." I can translate a brand’s voice for an international audience, ensuring the visual language feels culturally resonant and sophisticated regardless of where the user is logging in from.
Storytelling
My additional background in product and graphic design means I see your offerings as more than just images on a screen. I know how to highlight materiality, craft, and heritage through digital storytelling, creating an emotional resonance that standard "drag-and-drop" designers or AI simply cannot replicate.
